Shows are the events that we put on where our dogs compete against other dogs of a similar size and grade, and we test our handling skills, in a number of different “classes”. Each class has a different course of obstacles to navigate and presents a unique series of challenges, and the fastest dog with the fewest faults is the winner. There are also usually special classes for older dogs, teams, pairs or just for fun. Shows take place over 1 or several days, often with camping, catering, trade stands and always the opportunity to meet and socialise with fellow competitors.

In 2022, SDDTC held a very successful show at Oswestry showground at the end of April. Information about future shows will be posted here. Currently the club is investing in equipment and providing a wide variety of training and sufficient amount of trainers, to meet demand. Therefore we are only running Fun shows.
